My Top 5 SJ biases

I've been wanting to write about what I felt when I started to become a fan of Super Junior. I started an article actually that I intend to submit to Youngblood and hopefully, it gets published by the time they get here. Sad though because I have not finished it yet because a lot has happened. I will finish that I promise.

Anyway, I just wanted to share why I am biased for which member. Yes, I have gained new friends because of Super Junior. Unfortunately, I am the eldest among them but the youngest when it comes to how long I have been a fan (which is not long ago :)) When I started, they kept on throwing me at other members, particularly Ming and Shindong when Shelly (who happened to be the most tenured fan in our group) found out that I am leaning towards Leeteuk. They have not asked me how I came up with my top 5 biases. So, I was thinking to share it with anyone who will bother to read this one.

my top 5 biases

#5 Yesung. He happened to be the 5th because my dongsaeng threatened my life if he goes any higher on my list. But you will not believe that she shows me his pictures when we are together. This boy (I call them boys because they are all younger than me) has amazing vocals. He can make me cry and laugh at the same time just by listening to his voice. I also liked the fact that he is a simple person and a random one I might say because you will never know what he is up to next. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves soon because he is talented and hardworking. Weird because I was just thinking of adding super before the adjectives I used in the previous sentence :) but I guess, that is one reason he is part of the group and considered an asset at the same time.

#4 Eunhyuk. Since dancing has been my first love and I missed performing on stage with our group back in my Youth for Christ days, I was drawn to this lad because of his clean, fluid dance moves. He owns the stage when he dances and even his fellow members admit to that. I like the innocence he shows. He is the usual victim of the members' pranks sometimes they pull the same prank and he will still not suspect a thing. That is how innocent he is. I also like the passion I see in him when he is dancing because through his movements, you know that he is always striving to perfect his craft.

#3 Leeteuk. I am older than the hyung of the group for just 12 days but my friends insist that I am already his noona (did I spell that right?) Anyway, I was drawn to him because we have some things in common. I let my members do their own thing even to the point that may already give me embarassment. The same is true with my family because I happen to be the eldest. When I am with them, you cannot tell that I am the leader or the eldest because of how I let them treat me. He does the same. We both like to laugh out loud. We both get affected with what is happening with the people around us, to a fault. These are only a few that I can remember for now but, I look up to him and will not see him any different from that. (I assure you Shelly :))

#2 Heechul. For some weird reason, I was mesmerized by the so-called black sheep of the group. If I have a lot in common with the leader, this boy and I almost does not have anything in common. Maybe because of that difference, I came close to the fire. Behind his bad boy, cool guy image is a caring, compassionate friend and somehow, I knew there is more to him than what he lets the public know. It does not hurt that he is good looking and equally talented as well.

And my #1 is Siwon. Jacky sold him pretty well to me. I was hesitant at first because he has this aura that he is just a pretty face. I was wrong because he has a good heart and always have the best of intentions for others. I find him mature for his age and he gets along well with people from all of walks of life when in fact, he has a reason to be boastful coming from a wealthy family. I also like the fact that he does something to fulfill what he thinks is his mission in life. He reminds me to go after what is just and right.

Well, you may agree or not with how I perceived them but I do not think my perception of these guys will change. They may go their separate ways but to their fans and supporters, they will always be Super Junior. They changed my life and I am sure they did the same thing to a lot of people. For that, I am thankful for the inspiration, diversion and happiness they bring to my life.
